LONG (176 words)
David Nkennor is a Nigerian worship leader, songwriter, author and educationist.
A pastor's kid, he holds a Mathematics degree from the University of Lagos and
trained as an educator. He began singing in 1999, at about nineteen, as one of six
men in the a cappella group Baby's Heart, which ministered across Nigerian
university campuses, concerts and churches for close to a decade.

In 2008 he founded Worship Is W.I.D.E, short for Worship Is What I Do Every time,
which premiered in Lagos on 28 September that year with a live worship recording.
Two live albums followed, alongside songs including Without Restriction, You Are
Good and That Generation.

His teaching began with Worship School Lagos in March 2017 and grew through The
Worship Continuum, which reached more than 850 worship leaders in under a year.
In 2022 the teaching was written down as a curriculum, Understanding The Music
Ministry, whose first cohort met on Zoom that November with close to fifty
ministers from about nine countries.

He is the author of The Music Code of God and Worshippers of the Last Day, and
hosts a weekly online worship gathering called The Morning Dew. He is married to
Ugochi and they have two children.
