Ministry
Worship is what I do every time.
The name is not a slogan. It is what the ministry was called in 2008 and what it has been doing since.

A ministry, not a brand.
Worship Is W.I.D.E is a registered non profit. It premiered on 28 September 2008 in Lagos with a live worship recording, and it has spent the years since doing two things: gathering people to worship, and teaching the people who lead them.
In 2019 the ministry took prayer, worship and more than five hundred thousand Naira in support into the Lagos University Teaching Hospital. Worship that never leaves the room is not the point.
Ministry is always fulfilled within a context.
God has never called anyone to reach everyone. Try to reach everybody and you lose your voice.
David Nkennor, The Worship Continuum
The Morning Dew
A weekly online worship gathering. No production budget, no stage, no ticket. People join from wherever they are and worship together at the start of the day.
It is the ordinary, unglamorous version of what he teaches: worship as a habit rather than an event.

Understanding The Music Ministry
The teaching was finally written down as a curriculum. The first cohort met on Zoom that November: close to fifty ministers from about nine countries.
Six things every music minister must know
The framework at the centre of his teaching. He walks through all six in the course, and he arrived at each of them the hard way.
Why you were sent, and what you were sent to do.
God has never called anyone to reach everyone.
When it is time, heaven moves. When it is not, you are on your own.
Lose it, and everybody begins to remove their hands.
Ministry is location sensitive.
You cannot box God.

Hear him teach
An introduction to the course, and one of the sessions that shows the shape of the teaching. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play.

The training runs twice a year
Understanding The Music Ministry meets over four Saturdays, two hours each, entirely online. Registration and cohort dates live on the ministry site.
Invite him to minister or teach
Church services and worship nights, conferences and concerts, campus fellowships, retreats, recordings, and closed training for a music team. Two different requests, really: come and minister, or come and teach.
He works across Nigeria and travels internationally. Past sessions have drawn people from Lagos, Abuja, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States.
